Trauma Center of the Rockies is the Level II trauma center located at Medical Center of the Rockies. Expert trauma surgeons and other physicians, nurses, case managers, and technologists dedicated to trauma care stand ready 24 hours a day to provide our region's top care for the critically injured.
Located at Medical Center of the Rockies, our region's newest hospital designed for trauma response, Trauma Center of the Rockies provides rapid response for severely-injured patients. Convenient highway proximity to I-25 allows for fast EMS access. Two helicopter landing pads (including one on the roof) also provide rapid access for patients transported by air.
As a Level II Center, Trauma Center of the Rockies also is a resource to other hospitals for trauma consultation and training. Trauma Center of the Rockies is a referral center for hospitals in northern Colorado, southern Wyoming, and western Nebraska.
Poudre Valley Hospital, the regional partner of Trauma Center of the Rockies, provides Level III trauma services for our region.
