Harmony Urgent Care will join Poudre Valley Medical Group on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012.
The urgent care center, located in the Harmony Campus on the southeast side of Harmony and Timberline Road in south Fort Collins, provides immediate care for minor injuries and illnesses seven days a week. The center is staffed by board-certified family
doctors, emergency medicine doctors, physician assistants and registered nurses who provide care for people with all of life's little emergencies from sprains and strains and colds and flu to headaches, stomach aches and minor infections.

Dr. Cynthia "Lee" Goacher will become the center's medical director. Dr. Goacher is board-certified in family medicine and has been serving patients at PVMG's Loveland Urgent Care for two years. She received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and has extensive work experience in both family and emergency medicine.
In addition, three new physicians have joined PVMG and will work at Harmony Urgent Care.
Dr. Michele Clingenpeel is board-certified in family medicine. She join ed PVMG earlier this year and has been serving patients at Loveland Urgent Care. She received her medical degree fro m Michigan State University.
Dr. David Link is board-certified in emergency medicine and worked at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley for almost 20 years before joining PVMG. He received his bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and his medical degree from East Carolina University.
Dr. Karen Hill is board-certified in family medicine and has been practicing in the Longmont area since 2000. She received her bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver, a master's degree from University of Colorado, Denver, and a doctor of osteopathy degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
These physicians will be joined by a team of physician assistants with a wide array of experience, some of whom have been serving patients at the clinic over the past couple years:

Clint Hartman - 31 years experience in pediatrics, emergency and urgent care, including four years at Harmony Urgent Care.

Roberta Brooks - 25 years experience in family medicine, geriatrics and urgent care, including a year at Harmony Urgent Care.

Jim Petersen - 10 years experience in occupational medicine and urgent care, including four years at Harmony Urgent Care, and 25 years experience as a medic.

Lisa Whittaker - 13 years experience in family medicine, occupational medicine, student health.

Erika Wicks - Seven years experience in pediatrics and family medicine.
With more than 150 physicians, PVMG represents 23 specialties. The physician-led organization is the largest, most comprehensive medical group in northern Colorado.
