MCR employees to join Earth Day cleanup project
This year, employees and volunteers from Medical Center of the Rockies are giving back to the community on Earth Day.
For three hours that morning, the employees and volunteers will be joining the City of Loveland's Annual Spring Waterway Cleanup project in the Centerra area. The team will be clearing the trash and debris out of the waterway areas and helping the High Plains Environmental Center with a replanting project.
Employees and volunteers need to register by 5 p.m. Friday, April 13, to be a part of the team. Friends and family are welcome to join, and there is a place to list those people on the registration form.
In accordance with the city's spring cleanup event rules, children between the ages of 6 and 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Those who are between the ages of 13 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or must bring a pre-signed liability form. Children younger than 6 may not participate in this event.
