Women Ages 40-49: Establish Healthy Habits
- Thyroid Test: Every five years
- Blood Pressure: At least every two years
- Cholesterol: Ask your doctor
- Blood Sugar Test: Starting at age 45, then every three years
- Clinical Breast Exam: Yearly
- Pap Test and Pelvic Exam: Every one to three years
- Mammogram: Ask your doctor
- Sexually Transmitted Infection (STIs) test: Both partners should get tested for STIs, before having sexual intercourse
- Vision Exam at age 40 and then every two to four years
- Dental Exam: One to two times every year
- Tetanus-Diptheria Booster Vaccine: Every 10 years
