For adolescents, Mountain Crest offers a residential program, partial day programs, medical detoxification for substance abuse, addictive disease programs, crisis intervention, and a team-building ropes course called TEAM Challenge.
The residential program helps teens who need a longer period of time within a clinical setting away from home.
In such cases, an extended pattern of problems usually exists within school, home, self, or peers. Lee intensive services have not resolved the problems. The average length of stay is three months.
The adolescent attends Mountain Crest's certified school during the residential stay.
The academic program is a Colorado Department of Education certified on-grounds school. The program applies a variety of methods to help students achieve academic success. With family consent, the school staff will help coordinate an effective transition with the student's home school.
