 Stephanie A. Doughty
Chief financial officer
Stephanie Doughty is chief financial officer of Poudre Valley Health System. She joined PVHS in May 1998.
Her responsibilities include system-wide leadership in financial functions, treasury functions, registration, patient business services, coding, clinical documentation, payor relations, materials management, decision support and financial planning. She started her career in healthcare finance in 1982.
Prior to joining PVHS, she was the CFO of Bayfront/St. Anthony's Healthcare in St. Petersburg, Fla. She served 10 years with Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, first as the controller and then vice president of finance. Prior to that, she worked for Englewood Community Hospital as the controller. She also audited healthcare institutions for three years.
Ms. Doughty has a bachelor's in business administration, cum laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. She currently serves on the governing boards of a surgery center joint venture, a sub-acute rehabilitation joint venture, a home health joint venture and an infusion therapy joint venture.
