Pain management

We take your pain very seriously and want to keep it under control so you can recover as soon as possible.

Throughout your stay, we will ask you to rate your pain on a 0-10 scale, with 0 being no pain at all and 10 being the worst pain you can imagine. This helps nurses and caregivers gauge your pain on a regular basis, assuring it doesn't become intolerable.

If you have any questions when your nurse asks you to rate your pain, please ask. All nurses are specifically trained in pain management.
