Soy much for sandwiches
With more great-tasting soy-based products available, try some soy for your child's lunch.
Here's a possibility:
Buy meatless corn dogs. In the morning, heat one in a microwave.
Slip out the wooden stick. Crisp us the corn dog briefly in a toaster oven. Wrap it in foil and put it in your child's sack lunch along with a apple or banana, and maybe some carrot or celery wedges, and a healthy drink like low-fat milk.
You can also buy meatless versions of chicken nuggets. Prepare them as you would the meatless corn dogs above.
Here's the trick: Find a brand of meatless product that your child like. Make sure it isn't too high in sodium.
