Each year, Medical Center of the Rockies hosts the Nursing Memorabilia Gallery Walk. The event includes a wide variety of historical medical and nursing memorabilia, including:
A nursing student uniform from the 1960s.
Two World War II Army nursing uniforms.
Four replicas of nursing uniforms from the 1890s to the 1930s.
Historic Red Cross uniforms.
Antique pins and syringes.
Antique medical equipment.
The 2012 event is May 8 and 9 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each day at Medical Center of the Rockies, 2500 Rocky Mountain Ave. in Loveland. See the map at right for customized driving directions.
